From the origins of the Particular
Our story has its roots in Cantal, our family's ancestral home and a true source of inspiration. In the 19th and early 20th centuries, our family ran a tourist hotel in Auvergne called "L'Hôtel des Voyageurs".
The ambition, even then, was to offer travelling travellers — especially those in search of the famous Auvergne linen merchants — quality hotel services in elegant residences.
Today, this legacy finds a new expression with La Particulière, 4-star hotel in Caen. Faithful to this demanding and intimate spirit of hospitality, we reinterpret this tradition through a unique place, where the art of living, attention to detail and the culture of transmission come together.

From the search for the traveler's experience
As great-grandchildren of this family history, we in turn chose to undertake a project in Normandy, with the desire to reconnect with this travel experience dear to our ancestors.
Together, we revived a family business dedicated to hospitality, tourism, and the art of welcoming guests. Today, our vision is embodied in a clear promise: to create timeless places designed to offer genuine and authentic experiences. «"Timeless places for authentic experiences"».
Open and unique house
Our first establishment, La Particulière boutique hotel, aims to be timeless. A private 18th century house, built on medieval foundations, positioned lengthwise against the left flank of the former Cordeliers convent. From the patio, you can admire the chapel of mercy built in the 13th centurye century, it was used by the Cordeliers from 1220.
After a two-year renovation and transformation into a hotel, the place is once again ready to welcome travelers. Once past the majestic wooden porch, the change of scenery begins. Warm materials and colors will envelop you in the world of La Particulière, opened in 2025.
