Caen train station

Caen SNCF train station, 1 Rue Roger Bastion, 14000 Caen, France

Caen train station is approximately a 10-minute drive or public transport ride from the hotel. Regular services from Paris (Gare Saint-Lazare) allow you to arrive in less than 2 hours. You can then reach the hotel by taxi, tram, or bus.

By tram: line T1 or T3 towards “Hérouville St Clair” or “Château Quatrans” / Stop “Château Quatrans”.

By bus: line n10 towards “Blainville – Parc”

By car

La Particulière is located close to major highways, making it easy to arrive by car. If you're coming from the A13 (Paris-Caen) or the A84 (Rennes-Caen), follow the signs for the city center and then the hotel signs. You can park for a few minutes in front of the hotel while you wait for your arrival.

In transport

Local bus lines, such as lines 1, 10, 20 and 3, or tram line T3, serve the area near Rue des Cordeliers.

Station: Château Quatrans

The hotel is served by several tram lines, allowing quick access from the train station or other parts of the city. The nearest tram stop is a few minutes' walk away, called "Château Quatrans."

Caen-Carpiquet Airport is approximately a 15-minute drive away. Regular flights connect Caen to several major French and European cities. From the airport, you can reach the hotel by taxi or shuttle.

By train
From Paris, take a direct train from Gare Saint-Lazare to Caen train station. The journey time is approximately 2 hours. Once at Caen train station, taxis as well as local bus lines, such as lines 1, 10, 20 and 3, or the T3 tram line, serve the area near Rue des Cordeliers.

By car
From Paris, take the A13 motorway towards Caen. The journey is approximately 230 km, or about 2 hours and 30 minutes, depending on traffic.

As you approach Caen, follow the signs towards the city centre to reach Rue des Cordeliers.

We do not have reserved spaces at the hotel (parking lots or garages), parking near the hotel La Particulière, located at 12 rue des Cordeliers in Caen, is not a problem, you will have many possibilities.

Central Caen Parking: located under the FNAC, this car park is less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel.
Parking République: located on Place de la République, this car park is approximately a 5-minute walk from the hotel.
Vendeuvre parking: located on Quai de Vendeuvre, it is approximately a 10-minute walk away.
Hôtel de Ville parking: located Place Louis Guillouard, approximately 12 minutes on foot.

On-street parking
The streets adjacent to Rue des Cordeliers have paid parking spaces. (Rue des Foits Saint Julien, Rue Pémagnie, Rue Pasteur, Rue Gémare)

In Caen, on-street parking is subject to charges between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. and between 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Rates vary depending on the zone:
Red zone (hyper-center) : €1.50/hour, maximum duration 2 hours.
Yellow zone (extended city center) : 1 €/hour, maximum duration of 5 hours.

It is possible to pay for parking via parking meters or mobile apps at no extra cost. (PayByphone)

Free zones : some blue zones allow limited free parking with disc.
Electric vehicles : parking is free for up to 2 hours for electric vehicles.

Your room must be vacated by 12pm. If you wish to extend your stay with a late check-out, you can request this at reception: late check-out.

Flexible rate, payment of 100 % of the stay at the time of booking and cancellable free of charge up to 7 days before arrival.
Beyond that, 100 % of the first night's fees will apply.

Our animal friends are welcome: 10 kg maximum, one animal per room. A supplement of €30 per night

In our room descriptions, you will find a summary of the amenities for each room. All rooms have a shower and/or bathroom, a TV, Wi-Fi, telephone, and toilet.

The hotel does not have a lift for rooms on the upper floors. However, two of our rooms are on the ground floor, one of which is accessible to people with reduced mobility.

Our hotel is non-smoking. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all common areas and guest rooms. Smoke detectors are installed for this purpose. We invite you to consult the [link to relevant policy/policy/etc.]. internal regulations.
However, within the patio, tobacco and electronic cigarettes are tolerated.

Our hotel welcomes children from 14 years old, contact us to find out about our options.

For environmental reasons, we replace your linens every three days. If you would like them changed more frequently, please contact reception.

We offer the breakfasts and afternoon tea in our lounges. Our hotel does not have a restaurant.

We have a spirits bar, cocktails, wines and champagne with an aperitif menu.

For lunch or dinner, our reception team will be happy to offer you our menu in partnership with our local restaurants to enjoy on site and/or to understand your needs to reserve the best possible table for you with one of our partners.

For your safety, our entire hotel has a video surveillance system in the common areas, the patio as well as the bar and lounges.
